Neue Ausstellung im Art Institute of Chicago
Am 7. November 2009 eröffnet im Art Institute of Chicago die Ausstellung „Apostels of Beauty: Arts and Crafts from Britain to Chicago”. Im Focus stehen Entwürfe von William Morris und Charles Robert Ashbee bis Gustav Stickley und Frank Lloyd Wright. Die Ausstellung läuft bis zum 6. Juni 2010. Vom 20. März bis 6. Juni 2010 steht „Matisse and the Methods of Modern Construction“ auf dem Programm. 100 Gemälde, Skulpturen, Zeichnungen und Drucke zeigen Matisses anspruchsvollste Arbeiten. (FVA Chicago & Illinois)
